DONATION AND REFUND POLICY.
A legal disclaimer
Effective Date: September 1, 2026

Pneuma Gladius is committed to being clear about where financial support goes and how it is used.
The Pneuma Gladius website may provide opportunities or links for individuals to financially support charitable initiatives associated with our broader mission. Certain donations promoted through this Website are made directly to the Invictus Project, a nonprofit organization supporting programs and initiatives intended to improve the well-being of veterans, first responders, and others within the communities it serves.
DONATIONS TO THE INVICTUS PROJECT
When a donation opportunity on PneumaGladius.com identifies the Invictus Project as the recipient, the contribution is being made to the Invictus Project and not to Pneuma Gladius.
Pneuma Gladius may collaborate with, support, or help raise awareness for initiatives of the Invictus Project, but the organizations remain separate legal entities.
Before completing a donation, donors should review the information presented on the applicable donation or payment page to confirm the organization receiving the contribution.
CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS
The Invictus Project is organized as a nonprofit organization recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
To the extent permitted by law, donations made directly to the Invictus Project may be tax-deductible.
The deductibility of any particular contribution depends upon applicable law and the donor's individual circumstances. Nothing on the Pneuma Gladius Website should be considered tax, financial, or legal advice.
Donors should retain their donation receipt and consult a qualified tax professional regarding the deductibility of their contribution.
HOW DONATIONS ARE USED
Donations to the Invictus Project support its charitable mission, programs, operations, and initiatives.
When a fundraising campaign identifies a particular program or intended use for donations, the Invictus Project will make reasonable efforts to use funds consistent with that stated charitable purpose.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, donations should not be interpreted as creating a contractual obligation to use a particular donor's contribution for a specific individual, service, participant, project, or expense.
DONATIONS ARE GENERALLY FINAL
Charitable donations are generally considered final once processed.
Unlike the purchase of a product or service, a charitable contribution represents a voluntary decision to support the mission and work of the receiving nonprofit organization.
For that reason, donations are generally non-refundable.
We recognize, however, that mistakes can happen.
REFUND REQUESTS
The Invictus Project may consider a refund request when a donation appears to have resulted from an error, including situations involving:
-
An accidental duplicate donation;
-
An incorrect donation amount;
-
A technical or payment-processing error;
-
An unauthorized transaction; or
-
Another circumstance in which the donation was clearly made in error.
Requests should be submitted as soon as reasonably possible after discovering the error.
Approval of a refund request is not guaranteed and may depend upon the circumstances of the transaction, applicable law, payment-processing requirements, whether funds have already been committed or distributed, and other relevant considerations.
Approved refunds will generally be returned using the original payment method when reasonably possible.
RECURRING DONATIONS
If recurring donations are offered, donors may cancel future recurring contributions in accordance with the instructions provided by the applicable donation or payment platform.
Cancellation of a recurring donation prevents future charges but does not ordinarily result in refunds of donations that have already been processed.
Donors should review the recurring-donation terms displayed when establishing their contribution.
PAYMENT PROCESSORS
Donations may be processed through third-party payment processors.
Those providers may maintain their own terms, privacy policies, security practices, and transaction procedures.
Pneuma Gladius does not necessarily receive or store complete credit card, debit card, or banking information associated with donations processed by third parties.
DONATION RECEIPTS
Donors should receive appropriate confirmation or documentation from the organization or payment platform processing their contribution.
Please retain donation receipts for your records.
If a donation is refunded, any receipt or acknowledgment associated with the refunded portion of the contribution should no longer be relied upon as evidence of a charitable contribution for tax purposes.
QUESTIONS OR REFUND REQUESTS
Questions concerning a donation should be directed to the organization identified as the recipient on the donation page or donation receipt.
If you are uncertain where to direct your request, you may contact:
Pneuma Gladius

Please include "Donation Question" or "Donation Refund Request" in the subject line and, when applicable, provide the date and amount of the transaction.
Please do not send complete credit card or banking information by email.
